Our Story

LÉ DETOX was founded by Arianne Virsunen after years of navigating her own journey with severe period pain, inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and PMDD symptoms that she once believed were simply a “normal” part of womanhood.

After diving deeper into root-cause wellness through functional testing, acupuncture, and holistic healing practices, Arianne was introduced to castor oil and the concept of supporting the body's natural detox pathways. What began as a personal wellness ritual quickly evolved into a much deeper realization: so many women were silently experiencing similar symptoms while lacking access to conversations, education, and elevated wellness products that felt approachable, modern, and intentional.

As she began experimenting with her own castor oil blends at home, incorporating ingredients like magnesium, milk thistle extract, lavender, turmeric oil, and other intentional botanicals, she started sharing them with close friends who quickly fell in love with both the ritual and the experience surrounding it.

That was the beginning of LÉ DETOX.

With a background in branding, storytelling, and building culturally driven brands, Arianne saw an opportunity to reimagine castor oil through an entirely new lens. She didn't want to simply repackage an existing product. She wanted to modernize a time-honored ritual and create a wellness experience that felt luxurious, empowering, and worthy of a permanent place in women's everyday routines.

Today, LÉ DETOX exists at the intersection of modern wellness, feminine ritual, and intentional self-care. Through thoughtfully formulated products and honest conversations around women's health, Arianne hopes to encourage women to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and become more curious and informed about their own wellness.
